About Nana Mimi
Nana Mimi is a Mayan Time Keeper, 3rd generation Medicine Woman & Womb Healer.
She is a Tz'utujil Mayan who was born and raised on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
Her mission is to share the medicines of her ancestors with her community. Since she was a young girl, she loved to help her mother with her healing and oracular work with cacao, helping many people in her community and beyond.
As time went by, her mother passed on to her the medicine that she had received from her grandmother to Nana Mimi and her siblings, Ana Maria & Sebastian. Their entire family continues to carry this lineage since their mother has passed.
Nana Mimi is also a Mayan Timekeeper (Ajq'ij) who works with the energies of each day of her Mayan calendar through the sacred fire.
She also carries the medicine and teachings of the sacred Womb through her Mayan Womb Massage Training.

“To begin remembering our Indigenous belonging on the Earth back to life, we must metabolize as individuals the grief of recognition of our lost directions, digest it into a valuable spiritual compost that allows us to learn to stay put without outrunning our strange past, and get small, unarmed, brave, and beautiful.”
